Exam pattern for Delhi Police Head Constable Ministerial Written Examination 2019

The slec tion process wil bbe as follows:

  • Computer Based Examination
  • Physical Endurance & Measurement Test (PE&MT)
  • Typing Test on Computer
  • Computer (Formatting) Test

Computer Based examination

The examination will be divided in various part according to subject. The total time give for the examination is 90 minutes.

Part A

General awareness- 20 questions- 20 marks

Part B

Quantitative Aptitude (Basic Arithmetic Skill)- 20 questions- 20 marks

Part C

General Intelligence- 25 questions- 25 marks

Part D

English Language (Basic knowledge)- 25 questions- 25 marks

Part E

Computer Fundamentals- 10 questions- 10 marks

Physical Qualifying test

Physical measuremnet test will be taken to test candidate’s physical propertoes like height and chest, This is a qualifying test and candidate should meet all the qualifiying criteria to get qualified.

Height Requirements

1. For male candidates only (UR) : 165 cm height,  78 cm chest un-expanded, 82 cm chest exapnded
2. For candidates belonging to Hill areas of Garhwal, Kumaon, Himachal Pradesh, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas, Kashmir Valley, Leh & Ladakh regions of J&K, North-Eastern States and Sikkim :  160 cm height, 72 cm chest un-expanded, 77 cm exapnded
3. For all candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes:  160 cm height,  72 cm chest un-expanded, 77 cm expanded

4. For Female candidates only (UR):  157 cm height, — —
5. For female candidates belonging to Hill areas of Garhwal, Kumaon, Himachal Pradesh, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas, Kashmir Valley, Leh & Ladakh regions of J&K, North-Eastern States and Sikkim:  152 cm height, — —
6. For all female candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes:  152 cm height, — —

Physical Endurance Test

In addition to a computer based examination, physical endurance test will also be conducted to test candidates physical abilities. This is a qualifying examination.
